Re:Motorhome Construction
Dear Gulf Stream,
This is a note to say thank you for building such a strong
and well-built Motor Home.
Our story goes like this; Six Fl Sun Gators arrived at Stone
Mountain Ga. Campground August 4, 2006. We all got set up
and everything was great until after supper. We were in our
coach watching it rain and then around 6:40 pm a wind shear
(straight wind) ripped through the campground. Wind was
estimated around 85 to 100 mph. The campground lost hundreds
of trees and unfortunately one about 80ft tall fell on our
coach. The tree fell approximately 10 to 12 feet before
crashing into the center of the back end of us. We ended up
with a crack in the roof and a crushed intake for the engine
and a small crack next to the back-up camera. The Fifth
wheel one space down from us did not fare so well or did the
coach across from them. Marty and I never want to experience
any thing like that ever again but if we ever do, we sure
will feel safer in our well built Gulfstream.
By the way Marty took his handy dandy patch kit (in case of
an emergency) put a temporary patch on the roof and away we
went and continued with the rest of our vacation.
Just a note about Stone Mountain, they put us up in a 5 star
motel for free and when we got our credit card statement
they had credited us one night of camping. They couldn’t do
enough for us.

Re: Gulf Stream Cruiser 5250
Dear Mr. Shea:
We have just returned from a long trip – Florida to Alaska
to Florida – in our new Gulf Stream Cruiser 5250. We took
delivery 2/10/06 at Sun Coast RV in Winter Garden, FL (Leon
Stroud – super guy).
Other than some minor problems (fridge, TV, etc) all quickly
corrected by Sun Coast; I am happy – ecstatic- to report “no
problems in 12,540 miles – 12 weeks – across the US and
Canada.
As an experienced RVer – 8 years with a ’98 Chinook –
112,000 miles – I have come to expect problem on the road so
this trip was a most pleasant surprise.
My sincere congratulations to your team.
Sincerely,
John M

Re: Conquest Supreme 26 FRBW
"We had a 24 foot Terry fifth wheel and were looking to get a newer model. A friend of ours was in Charleston, Wv. and stopped at Elkins on her way back and saw this one and told me about it. When my wife got home, I said lets take a trip to Elkins. We looked at this one, a Nomad, and a 2005 Pilgrim. This one was the one that we fell in love with just as soon as we stepped inside. The craftmanship is just great and it looks a lot bigger inside than any other that we looked at. Thank you for making such a great camper. And, YES, I would buy another one.

Re: Limited Edition Conquest
"We have had
it a year. We absolutely love it. The cabinets and carpets are
class A in my book. We have had many people look at our camper
and three of them have purchased Gulf Stream's. I am pleased to
let you know that if we purchase another camper it will
certainly be a Gulf Stream!!!"

Re: 2001 Conquest Motor Home
"We
purchased our first motor home , a 2001 Conquest on July 2 from
Camper Country in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. We have been
looking for about 5 years and have been to many dealers."

Re: Scenic Cruiser
"Sitting
back and thinking about our past trip to Central America with
our motorhome, I think this letter should be written to the CEO
of a company that built our motorhome and thanking him for the
comfort and peace of mind that he provided.
First I need
to start at the beginning of the trip. On January 9 of
this year we left McCallen TX. on a 70 day trip to the Panama
Canal. The trip was on some of the worst roads that could
be found, potholes so large a complete stop was made to cross
them , over roads in the Honduras that Hurricane Mitch
destroyed, some days only 30 mph and maybe 100 miles could be
traveled. Every day travel was different. Some days
with narrow mountainous roads and heavy truck traffic to days
with flat low lands with Ox carts and narrow streets in small
villages. The total trip was 7000 miles. All in all
the motorhome took a beating.
My motorhome
is a Scenic Cruiser 8341, 1996 with a Ford Chassis. With a
total of 9 RV's on the trip, mine was the only one that survived
with just a superficial scratch. All the cabinets, doors
and framing are as they were when new. The slide never
failed and still no rattles anywhere. I am very pleased
with the coach and plan on buying another soon.
Also this is
my second Gulf Stream, the other being a 1990 27' Sun Clipper
which I drove to Alaska on a 10000 mile journey and it also
survived without any trouble. If you ever needed a
testimonial for your company, I am your man. Also I will
add that I have owned a total of four motorhomes. My next
purchase definitely will be a Gulf Stream"
