Gulf Stream Coach, Inc. of Nappanee Indiana has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician Welder/Fabricator

We are looking for a thorough Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of the premises. You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as: welding, electrical, plumbing, landscaping, construction, etc. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards.
• Perform maintenance of electrical systems (LED conversion, 480-volt 3ph knowledge).
• Trace electrical circuits, 3 phase and single phase, run conduit, and motor knowledge.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality.
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (small tool repair, staple gun repair, change saw blades etc.).
• Basic welding, fabrication, and basic overhead door knowledge.
• Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g., landscaping, painting, carpentry etc.) and other tasks as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proven experience as maintenance technician.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods (Lock Out/Tag Out).
• Basic knowledge of CM hoist repair and Graco pump repair.
• Air compressor knowledge a plus.
• Working knowledge of tools, scissor lifts and devices.
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills, able to read and electrical schematic.
• Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime.
• Must have good driving record and good attendance.
