Gulf Stream Coach, Inc. A leading producer of award-winning recreational vehicles located in Nappanee, Indiana, is looking for a Building Maintenance Technician. This position will be a jack-of-all-trades, with in-depth knowledge of maintenance procedures, hydraulic systems, HVAC, etc.

General Responsibilities:

• Performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, replace broken windows, doors or walls, etc.
• Painting the building when old paint has become faded or chipped.
• Inspecting buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues.
• Repair faulty equipment units and damaged structures.
• Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures.
• Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs.
• Maintaining the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly
• Managing HVAC and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality.
• Conducting periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.
• Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce risk of future problems and fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.
• Performing general maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting, and carpentry.
• Maintaining the inventory records for equipment and supplies.

General Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
• Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be well-organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks.
