National Sales Manager For Class-C Motorhomes

A leading producer of award-winning recreational vehicles located in Nappanee, our company is the leading Family-Owned RV manufacturer of Travel Trailers and Class-C motor homes dedicated to creating high-quality, innovative RV’s that provide exceptional comfort and adventure for our customers.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic National Sales Manager to lead and manage our sales division and Product Development Team.  The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the RV industry, and will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive growth and achieve sales targets across the country. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent relationship-building skills.

General Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement national sales strategies to achieve sales targets and market share growth for Class-C motorhomes.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Regional Sales Managers and Product Development Team.
  • Set clear sales goals and objectives, providing ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
  • Create and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key dealers, distributors, and customers.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure profitable sales growth.
  • Address and resolve customer issues and concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence.
  • Develop and execute marketing initiatives and promotional activities to support sales efforts.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment between sales and marketing strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective dealers/retailers.
  • Reach out to customer leads through calling, site visits and social media.
  • Achieve sales targets and outcomes.
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.

General Requirements/Experience:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of sales experience in the RV industry.
  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing and developing successful sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, market dynamics, and customer behavior in the RV industry.
  • Ability to travel nationally as required.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and AS400.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.
