Customer Service Technician

Gulf Stream Coach, Inc. of Nappanee Indiana is currently seeking to fill a vital role for a qualified Customer Service Technician. The ideal candidate should possess a working knowledge of RV appliances, slide out systems, RV electrical systems, LP gas systems, Plumbing systems and related RV knowledge.

FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Expertly diagnoses issues based on experience, analysis, and testing after discussing with clients and examining RV to determine nature of problem.
  • Communicates with retail customers and dealers.
  • Well-versed in all maintenance and repairs.
  • Dealer support via emails, phone and warranty claims.
  • Retail support via email and phone calls, may include investigating their claims, assisting with non-dealer authorizations, product spec information, listening to customer concerns (warranty and non-warranty).
  • Warranty claims and authorizations on our website, may include investigating claims, checking for duplicate submissions, registrations, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have general repair knowledge of RV processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and have a strong desire to provide extraordinary customer service.
  • Strong attention to detail with detailed record keeping and be quality minded.
  • Must have diagnostic, repair and problem-solving skills.
  • Minimum 2 years of RV Customer Service experience.
  • Computer experience and phone skills.
