Gulf Stream Honored With RV Dealers Association “Quality Circle” Award

Quality Circle Awards for Conquest Class C and BT Cruiser; Vintage/Vista Cruiser

In a ceremony conducted during the National RVIA Show in Louisville the last week of November, the Recreational Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA) recognized Gulf Stream Coach as the winner of two of the organization’s coveted DSI Quality Circle Awards, for our Vintage/Vista Cruiser lightweight travel trailers, and our Conquest Class C and BT Cruiser motor homes.

RVDA member dealers submit secret ballots rating their RV suppliers on a scale from 1 to 5  in four key categories:  Product Quality/Reliability, Parts, Warranty Service, and Sales.  Manufacturers have to earn an overall average score of 4.75 or higher to qualify for the Quality Circle Award.  It’s the highest recognition offered by RV dealers to RV manufacturers.

That’s why we’re so proud to have earned TWO Quality Circle Awards this year, for our wildly popular Vintage/Vista Cruiser ultra-lightweight travel trailers, and our industry-leading Conquest Class C and BT Cruiser motor homes.

It’s the second winning year in a row for the Vintage/Vista Cruisers.  Also notable – The Gulf Stream Conquest was the only standard Class C motor home in the industry to earn the honor this year.

The Quality Circle Award helps RV Dealers find products that will meet their standards for quality and reliability, before and after the sale.  The Award also gives savvy consumers a way to find best-in-class RV’s, like winners from Gulf Stream Coach, the Vintage/Vista Cruiser travel trailers and Conquest Class C and BT Cruiser motor homes.

Rollin’ On TV Reviews the Gulf Stream Coach Vintage Cruiser

Rollin’ On TV, the popular syndicated TV series that explores the RV lifestyle, has released a real-world review of the Vintage Cruiser conducted by noted RV expert, Jeff Johnston.  Jeff and his wife size up RV’s the way RV owners do – By taking them on the road, putting them through their paces, and camping in them!

In his review of the Vintage Cruiser, Jeff raves about the trailer’s on-road handling and maneuvering, noting that its modest overall length, good weight balance, aerodynamic shape, and light weight make the Vintage Cruiser a cinch to tow, park, and back up.  Jeff points out that the size also means the Vintage Cruiser can access smaller campsites that often offer the best views and most attractive surroundings.

Inside, Jeff makes it clear that the Vintage Cruiser does a great job of combining the appeal of the ‘retro’ look with the convenience of technically advanced features and construction methods, including the use of laminated walls and Azdel substrate.  He tours the living space, noting that his 6-foot-3 frame fits easily and feels comfortable inside the Vintage, with its 83″ high ceilings.

Compact Trailers, BIG Refrigerators!

Inside look at the big refrigeratorCamping in Small Trailers Is FUN!

Ask anyone devoted to trailer camping with a small, lightweight, simple travel trailer – Efficient use of space is essential.  Truth be told, it’s part of the fun of camping in a smaller trailer too – Coming up with novel, creative storage solutions is more than a passing hobby for many owners, who take advantage of every possible nook and cranny in their much-loved little trailers.

One big limitation in the quest for more space, though, is the refrigerator.  And unlike the search for more nooks and crannies, there is just so much space inside that cold cube!  That’s why Gulf Stream Coach created the 189DD and 199DD.  In this case, “DD” stands for “Double Door,” a reference to the Double-Door Refrigerator/Freezers we’ve installed in these two small, rugged, simple, Super-Lite trailers.

Big Refrigerators in the Small Trailer World!

The 189DD and 199DD have the biggest refrigerators ever installed in sub-20-ft travel trailers, giving small-trailer owners more space for groceries, beverages, meals, and treats than they’ve ever seen.

Like the appliance you have at home, our big refrigerators actually have TWO compartments – one for refrigerated goods, the other for frozen food.  There’s storage space in the doors, crisper drawers, and adjustable shelves, too.  Plus, by moving the refrigerator out from under the counter, there’s no need to get on your knees to find the mustard – Everything is easy to see and within easy reach.

What about the rest of these two models?  Both are built with the solid, reliable, strength and durability that have made Gulf Stream Coach Super-Lite travel trailers famous.  Both have handy galley kitchens, full ‘dry’ baths, a handy dinette, a roomy bed, plenty of that much-needed storage, and provisions for a furnace, air conditioning, awning, HDTV, and more.

Small Trailers, BIG Refrigerators, Great Idea!

If you’re looking for an economical way to get out into the great outdoors; if you’re planning casual camping weekends, or if you’re looking to get out of the tent and into something that’s safer and more secure, make sure to take a close look at the 189DD, the 199DD, and the rest of our Super-Lite travel trailers.

Gulf Stream Coach – Multiple Winner of the Quality Circle Award

The Quality Circle Award – A measure of distinction.

All RVs are not created equal – Thank goodness for that!  – The variations give owners a huge range of floor plans, features, specifications, and prices.

One measure of distinction at Gulf Stream Coach should be particularly important to RV shoppers.   It’s something called the Quality Circle Award from the RV Dealers Association, and here’s why it means so much:

RVDA uses a secret ballot to choose Quality Circle Award winners.

The Quality Circle Award is given to RV Manufacturers based on votes by RV dealers across the US and Canada.  It’s like the “Academy Award” of the RV industry!  The award is earned by a very small fraction of the RVs on the market, based on survey results from RV Dealers measuring product quality, warranty and service support, and overall Dealer satisfaction.

It should come as no surprise that Gulf Stream Coach is a multiple-award, multiple-year winner, with many of its popular brands heralded for quality, support, and satisfaction.  After all, being responsive and responsible to our dealers and retail customers is the foundation of our way of doing business.  Because we’re family-owned and family-focused, we don’t spend time or money satisfying the demands of a corporate board of directors or stockholders.  We spend time and money pleasing YOU.

Our award-winning focus on families has a 30-year heritage.

Our family focus has proven itself in the business world with over 30 years of success fulfilling the needs of hundreds of valuable dealers, and making dreams come true for hundreds of thousands of camping families – And we have the Quality Circle Awards to prove it!
